Wisdom teeth removal cost on the Central Coast
Every case is different. We'll explain our surgical fees at your consultation, before you decide.
Fees explained first

Chair or hospital
Treatment in the chair at Ourimbah, or under general anaesthetic at Brisbane Waters Private or Gosford Private Hospital.
Separate hospital fees
For hospital treatment, the surgeon, the hospital and the anaesthetist each charge separately.
Check your cover
Check your health fund cover before you book.
What affects the cost?
The cost depends on your case: how many teeth need to be removed, their position, and whether treatment is in the dental chair under local anaesthetic or in hospital under general anaesthetic. A wisdom tooth that has fully come through the gum can usually be removed like any other tooth. Where the tooth is under the gum and embedded in the jawbone, a small cut in the gum and removal of some of the bone over the tooth is needed.
Hospital treatment
For hospital treatment, you will receive separate fees from the surgeon, the hospital and the anaesthetist. Please check with the hospital and the anaesthetist about their fees, and check your health fund cover before you book. See general anaesthetic.
How do I find out the cost for my case?
Ask your dentist or doctor to refer you to The OSO. At your consultation your surgeon will assess your teeth, explain your options and our surgical fees, and answer your questions.
