Oral Surgery on the Central Coast

Wisdom teeth, surgical extractions, biopsies and minor oral surgery, in our Ourimbah rooms or under general anaesthetic in hospital.

All dentists are trained to remove teeth. Some teeth and procedures are more complex, and your dentist may refer you to a practitioner with additional surgical experience. At OSO Oral Surgery Ourimbah we carry out treatment under local anaesthetic in the chair, or under general anaesthetic at Brisbane Waters Private Hospital or Gosford Private Hospital, and we keep your dentist updated.

Do I need a referral?

Most patients are referred by their dentist or doctor. Dentists can address the referral to The OSO and we'll book you with the first suitable clinician, or the practitioner your dentist chooses.

Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks, such as pain, swelling, bleeding, infection and, rarely, nerve injury causing numbness. Your surgeon will explain the risks for your case before you decide. Before proceeding, you should seek a second opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner.
